It is common for the quartet to play as the guests arrive, for the entrance of the bride, during the signing of the register, and for the exit of the bride and groom.
During the drinks reception and photographs
At this point in the day a string quartet can provide the perfect accompaniment for your photographs as guests arrive and enjoy the drinks reception. If the weather is good we are happy to play outside, a common request during the spring and summer months.
Wedding breakfast
A string quartet is an excellent choice of ensemble to provide music during your meal. It enhances the sense of occasion and helps to bridge the gap between the formal celebrations of the day and the more relaxed atmosphere of the evening party.
If you have a special request for a piece of music that is not on the repertoire page, for a small extra fee it can be arranged for you and performed at any of the above points. Couples frequently request a song or piece of music which is special to them to be performed during the wedding ceremony.
If your wedding ceremony is in a different location to your reception the Allegrezza String Quartet are happy to travel between venues, and if we can make a speedy exit can arrive before your guests.
